First time here and the elegance of "Proof" is breathtaking. The succulent drink menu and picturesque platters are sure to win you over as well. We will definitely be back to sample more of their seemingly endless menu!
This place is really well designed. Very good, relaxed atmosphere and the workers make your experience really nice. They have some of the top bartenders that make your favorite drinks better. I recommend stopping here for a night out.
I've become a regular here since their early opening months. The care they take in service, the attention to detail, the thought into cocktails, bar knowledge in alcohols/liquors, the food menu of Chef, his balance of flavors, incredible treatment of ingredients, interesting and new desserts, I could go on. If you're willing to pay the price, it will be worth your money. I still stand by this review even now.
Beautiful architecture! Probably nicest in town Staff was nice and friendly Could use better ventilation so that the kitchen smells wouldn't be congested in the entire bar
Great place. Awesome vibe. The best oysters you will find 180 miles inland. The scallop dish was creative and delicious. The butternut squash cheesecake was one of the best desserts I have ever had. Note that this is a small plates/oyster bar. Not family/child friendly. We were huge fans. We will be back.
The atmosphere is very nice here. Medium sized venue under the street of Lancaster City. It is a upscale cocktail bar with excellent food. Nice for a date night or special occasion or even just a after work cocktail. I would recommend to anyone that appreciates some of the finer things. l and appreciates spending more to get more. Will definitely be back regularly.
My husband and I have been to Proof a few times now and are always impressed with the service, food, and drinks. I love that they have GF on their menu as well. We were there last night and ordered a dish that ended up not being able to be made. The team created a somewhat similar dish (lobster instead of scallops) for us. It was delicious! And then they didn’t even charge us for it. This is a A team!
This was our first time here and we all really loved it!! It's a nice speak-easy atmosphere in a cellar/basement, and it's very clean and refined inside. The service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. The short rib bao buns were spectacular, and the charcuterie board was pretty and great. Overall, you can get a bunch of small plates to share and some high quality drinks, and enjoy a very nice and refined atmosphere. But just don't expect a full meal. Definitely recommend it!!
